During The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, we couldn’t stop visualizing our skinny little ex-co-worker Kay. You see things in your head when you read literature, right? No? Come on, we’re not the only one.

Well, um, at least we know that Center Dance Ensemble is in our boat, because they’ve created American Voices, a program of works inspired and accompanied by great pieces of American verse. Getting all interdisciplinary like this is a swell way for the Herberger Theater Center’s resident modern dance company to help people appreciate something they might not otherwise get excited about (whether that’s modern dance or American poetry).
