Canal Convergence | Spring Equinox will bring the series of waterfront events and installations hosted by Scottsdale Public Art to a close this weekend with a grand finale celebration lasting four days.
The event will feature Art Bridge Live! presented by Artisan Market. Additionally, several artists, including Kendall Buster, Melissa Martinez, and The Experience Collective, have created large-scale installations that will be scattered about the canal between the Soleri and Marshall Way bridges.

Saturday is slated to be the most jam-packed day of the weekend, beginning at 10 a.m. with a 7-mile bike ride along the canal that loops back to the Soleri plaza to catch the Solar Ceremony performance at noon featuring Flam Chen, Sticks and Fingers, and Flight School at noon.
It will also be a good day to catch local artist Christy Puetz, who will be helping guests make their own quagga shell boat magnets while learning about the invasive quagga mussel from SRP, as part of the program’s ongoing mission to merge art with an awareness of native plant and animal life.
The event runs from Thursday through Sunday, but check out the info page to view specific event scheduling for each individual day of the event and to find out details about the participating artists and performance groups.
