Mercury up, attention span down. If therefore you crave a live version of the unfiltered, baffling behavior television brings you in spazzy little bursts, attend 7 Minutes in Heaven, the time-honored (yet always different) variety show from Space 55, presented each Saturday night this June. From the weird to the transcendent to the gross to the frightening, whatever a performer’s doing will go away within seven minutes, and something else will start. Some of the acts can safely be called comedy, music, dance, magic, or . . . sure, okay, yodeling. When it comes to the rest, words (other than “unsuitable for children”) will fail you. It’s the year-round series’ seventh anniversary — good to know randomness has such staying power.
Saturdays, 9 p.m. Starts: June 9. Continues through June 30, 2012
