The beauty of the taco is pretty easy to see. It’s ethnic, easily transformable, and, really, we don’t have a choice but to like them because they’re everywhere you look in this city.
As if we need an excuse to eat them more often, it’s about to be full-on taco-topia at Salt River Fields, 7555 North Pima Road in Scottsdale. On Sunday, October 21, the third annual Arizona Taco Festival brings together more than 50 taco teams to compete in front of National Taco Association judges for ultimate taco glory. To wash it all down, take in the tequila expo with more than 100 brands — as well as mariachi music, a flair bartending challenge, and ten acres of $2 tacos.
