A lot can happen in 10 minutes. Condemnation, absolution, murder,
birth — a simple word or gesture can change the course of someone’s
life. Remember that at 8 p.m. Thursday, September 10, when Space 55 Theater opens its new season with the latest in its 10-Minute Play Showcase series. Artistic director Shawna Franks is responsible for this milieu of nine local and national playwrights, which includes a world-première short (A Very, Very Bad Deal) by Urinetown playwright Greg Kotis, Mare Biddle’s The Guy, Kim Porter’s The Poet, Jason Holtham’s Impossible Things, and Denny Guge’s El Piledriver de Amor.
Thursdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m. Starts: Sept. 10. Continues through Sept. 26, 2009
