There’s plenty of comedic talent that flows through the veins of the Wayans family. Elder brothers Keenan Ivory and Damon helped revolutionize sketch comedy (and gave Saturday Night Live a run for its funny money) when they launched In Living Color in the 1990s.
Younger brothers Shawn and Marlon Wayans have also had their fare share of fame, raking in millions at the box office with such films as White Chicks and Little Man. The brotherly duo’s mix of blaxploitation humor and ghetto-fab riffs resulted in their hit TV show The Wayans Brothers and in sold out shows at comedy clubs across the nation. Unlike their previous ventures, the pair doesn’t unleash humor at the same time, preferring to entertain audiences with separate sets.
Shawn and Marlon will pay a visit to the Valley this weekend for a four-night stint at Stand Up Live, 50 West Jefferson Street.
