In conjunction with its current exhibition, “Narrow Road to the Interior” on view now through January 12, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art is holding a free event “Discover Ikebana: Japanese Flower Arranging.”
This one-day demonstration will be taught by Patricia Kuffler, assistant professor of Ikebana at the Ikenobo School. Kuffler will show museum visitors how to create several styles of Japanese floral arrangements, discuss the cultural history of the medium, as well as raffle off an authentic arrangement to one lucky guest.
