We’re currently in what we like to call the Dead Zone of sports. The early season of baseball is worthless. College and pro football games don’t start for another five months. And with the giddy high of March Madness fading fast, fellow fans are already going through some serious action sports withdrawals. Luckily, there’s a fix: the Arizona Rattlers.

On Sunday the Rattlers will take on the San Antonio Talons, and you should go for two reasons: not only are the games fast-paced and fun, but the Rattlers are one of the few teams in Phoenix that are actually good. After an 18-3 season, they made it all the way to the Arena Bowl in 2011, and they’re undefeated at home this year. Watching your home team win? That’s the best drug there is.
