$10,000

If you’re looking for some soul in downtown Phoenix, stroll into Carly’s Bistro any Thursday night and hear some of the best soul dusties ever. We’re talking Stevie, Curtis, Aretha, and a bunch of stuff you’ve probably never laid ears on.

DJ Rockledge, who creates a positive, party-like vibe inside of the chummy eatery, brings it all to you. Rockledge also stirs some of his record-spinning friends into the emcee mix — you’ll probably lose your shit (in a good way) when his pals tend to play obscure soul 45s. Also, Carly’s usually has drink specials – such as $4 glasses of wine during traditional dinner hours or as a reverse happy hour deal – to go along with the tuneage.
