One thing that doesn’t make sense to us is why bands choose to perform in our nuclear town during the summer. So we bow before the folks running the SoCo (Southern Comfort) Music Experience, who must know what’s up (or maybe they’re just hopped up on the fine whiskey brew), because they’re bringing their bangin’ sonic brew to town when the weather is finally pleasant. The outdoor fest, which has made a lot of noise in cities like San Diego and Atlanta, makes its Valley debut with performances by Cold War Kids, Girl Talk, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Sick Puppies, Architecture in Helsinki, and local support by DJ William “Fucking” Reed.
