You may notice some changes the next time you’re hanging out at 4200 North Marshall Way in Scottsdale. That’s because the former site of Soyal Gallery, the pop-up gallery that helped spruce up Scottsdale’s Marshall Way with contemporary art, is now Squeeze Gallery.
Former Soyal owners Emmett Potter and Spencer Hibert closed the venue on August 12. Shortly thereafter, Potter and his painter/mixed-media artist wife Kristin Bauer transformed the space into Squeeze Gallery, which grand opened with a gallery reception on September 9.
“Squeeze will exhibit a variety of breakthrough and cutting-edge contemporary art from around the world this next year,” says Potter, who is showcasing work at the space with Mimi Jaws through October 6. “The same level of shows and artist I brought to Soyal will now be taken to a new level with Squeeze.”
