Redneck freaks will no doubt be in a lather about all o’ “them gays” congregatin’ yonder in downtown Phoenix for this year’s free Rainbows Festival, but let’s hope more open-minded folks decide to drop by, ´cause it’s always a blast, what with the ever-fantastic festival bazaar and more live entertainment than you can shake a feather boa at, including a special performance by singer/songwriter Misty Odell and the Arizona Gay Idol 2007 Competition. And don’t forget to pick up your tickets for Saturday’s GOLD 2007 afterparty at AREA Phoenix featuring internationally renowned DJ Joe Gauthreaux (more info: www.thegoldparty.com).
