It’s that time of year again. Temperatures are flirting with the 110s, and we’re left to wonder why we didn’t flock Northeast with our snowbird grandparents. There is one distinct benefit to sticking around, though, and it’s the one thing that seems to keep us sane in the blistering heat: pool parties. Maybe it’s the excess of exposed, tan skin, but nothing beats dipping into a pool while sipping a cocktail and chatting up some beautiful people. Luckily, lovely ladies and gents are in abundance at Release, a weekly pool party at Scottsdale’s Talking Stick Resort, 9800 East Indian Bend Road. The fete features new DJ talent, and San Francisco beatmaster DJ Slick D will spin on Saturday, July 7.
