We’ve been boning up on Calculus for Dummies in an effort to figure out how Coach & Willie’s is gonna cram in all of those Arizona Diamondbacks fans for its D-Backs Fan Appreciation Night bash. Then we remembered that Chase Field’s been half-empty all season — half-full if you work in the D-Backs’ front office — despite the Snakes’ improbable flirtation with first place in the National League West. Those true-blues who do make the short trek from Chase to C&W’s following the game against the Los Angeles Dodgers will exult in memorabilia giveaways, live music, food and drink specials, and elbow-rubbing with fellow D-Backers. The Arizona/Dodgers game starts at 6:40 p.m., with the Coach & Willie’s bash following.
