It may be a trek up to Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North, but the panoramic views from the resort’s restaurant Talavera are worth the investment. On Sunday, June 23, Four Seasons Executive Chef Mel Mecinas joins forces with James Beard Award-nominated chef Kevin Binkley to offer Taste Talavera, a one-night-only culinary experience.

The Taste evening brings diners a four-course tasting menu showcasing the talents of guest chef Kevin Binkley, the Valley’s molecular gastronomy magician and owner of Binkley’s Restaurant in Cave Creek. He’ll create gastronomic art including tomato consommé with lobster and uni and seared Copper River salmon with pickled peaches.

Four courses plus desert and wine pairings costs $110 per person. Dinner service at Talavera, 10600 East Crescent Moon Drive, begins at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 9:30 p.m. To make a reservation call 480-513-5085 or visit www.talaverarestaurant.com.
