Maybe you’re in a new band and are looking for a place where you can transition from the practice space to a concert venue. Or maybe you’re a fledgling rapper who isn’t sure if you should go socially conscious or gangsta, and you need an audience’s opinion to decide.
Whether you’re a budding musician or a poet, amateur acts get a chance to show off their stuff on a stage that’s been graced by pros such as Mike Herrera – all without the trouble of having to book a gig and reserve a space – every Monday during the Open Mic Night at Yucca Tap Room. Interested participants simply need to sign up at the venue by 8:30 p.m.
