But, as the Guild points out, to teach, one must first learn. To that end, it sponsors an impressive series of lectures.

The Guild presents Laura Tohe, the Wordcraft Circle of Native Writers and Storytellers’ Writer of the Year for Poetry. Tohe, who was born and raised on the Navajo Reservation, will discuss oral and written literature among Southwest authors and storyteller.
