One new idea for every day in 2011. We’re talking big, small, local, international, in action and on the drawing board. Here’s today’s — what’s yours?
Alyssa Nassner and Rachel Dougherty describe their latest effort as “an ongoing excuse to make artwork, as well as a way to connect and network with fellow artists.”
Each week, a theme is given to a group of illustrators who create, collaborate, and complete each other’s work.
The result is Ten Paces and Draw. “It’s a fun and simple way to experiment with other illustrators’ styles, and see how one’s work is handled in the hands of another artist,” they write. So far, the collection includes collaborations of animals, literary characters, and (our favorite) This American Life’s Ira Glass.
