Because nothing expresses irony and outrage quite like a meme, thousands took to the internet after last night’s debate to add their own response to Mitt Romney‘s sound bite on workplace inequality for women.
When he spoke about recruiting women for his cabinet, Romney said he and hist staff “‘went to a number of women’s groups and said, ‘Can you help us find folks,’ and they brought us whole binders full of women.'”
Within minutes, “Binders Full of Women” had its own Twitter hashtag (#bindersfullofwomen), Facebook page with hundreds of thousands of likes, and a Tumblr page dedicated to countless memes. Here are a few of our favorites:
