Independent Journalism in Phoenix Needs You
We need to raise $15,000 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.
Who are we? Why are we here? Are we obsessive-personality quirks led by a voice in our head? Is it God? Or is it our dog? Yes, we think too much, but that’s why we blow off steam by throwing chairs at people and attacking bystanders with various scissor holds, kind of like Trash City Entertainment’s Superstars of Lucha Libre Wrestling will do. The enigmatic Mystyco will shiver our spine along with ax-wielding Khan Kussion and temptress Erica D’ Erico, but the real story is the long-awaited arrival of the Mini-Luchadores – wee masked grapplers Octagoncito and Piratita Morgan, who’ll exchange blows and swooping, acrobatic jump-kicks.
