With an eye on New York and Melbourne, documentary The Human Scale explores how architects have transformed metropolitan centers, such as Times Square, into livable, walkable, usable spaces designed around what city dwellers want and need.

No Festival Required presents a 7:30 p.m. screening of the documentary at SMoCA Lounge, 7373 East Second Street, on Thursday, January 15. Tickets are $7 and available at SMoCA’s front desk and by calling 480-874-4666. Visit nofestivalrequired.wordpress.com.
