One new idea for every day in 2011. We’re talking big, small, local,
international, in action and on the drawing board. Here’s today’s —
what’s yours?

In January, Michigan-based designer, Drew Melton, put the call out on the internet for practice material in the form of words and phrases.

Four months later, the result is Phraseology, a platform for typography and illustration by Melton and guest designers. “These pieces aren’t perfect,” he writes. “But they are honest. We celebrate the
process of design and creativity in all of its’ outcomes.”

Melton and his team are still looking for submissions (20 characters or under), which you can type into the little white box on the top right-hand corner of the Phraseology website.
