Keep Phoenix New Times Free
We’re aiming to raise $10,000 by April 26. Your support ensures New Times can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
Someone with a very active imagination intends to make that vision a thing of the past — a “collaborative market” bringing together local artists and entrepreneurs. Already, the Pool has signed on Broadway Dinner Theater and several local businesses — including a jeweler, embroidery shop and salsa maker.
We’ll be bringing you details in the coming weeks, but for now, check out plans for the Pool, here. Reminds us of The Lab in Orange County — in a very good way. Maybe not that cool, but hey, this is Mesa. We’ve gotta start somewhere.
If these guys can pull this off, call us impressed.
