We’ve seen plenty of staggering acts of nerdery happen at Mike Banks’ comic book emporium over the past five years: geeks going gaga over newly released graphic novels, basement-dwellers engaging in simulated combat, even a couple who named their infant after Luke Skywalker. But one thing we’ve never experienced at the Seventh Street establishment is a rock show. That changes this weekend as Portland electo-punk band The Slants perform at the shop’s Anime Fest mere hours before their show at the Rogue Bar.
