The sardonic, ironic Snider lives in Nashville, but he hardly fits that thar mold. In fact, he’s decidedly anti-Nashville, à la John Prine; a fine example of Snider’s bone-dry, humoresque oeuvre is the rollicking “Beer Run” — “B-Double-e-double-r-u-n/beer run” — a homage of sorts to another anti-Nashville anti-star, Robert Earl Keen.
