Grand Avenue Festival 2011
Phoenicians took the streets (er, avenue) during Saturday’s Grand Avenue Festival. The annual event was full of local art, culture, and design and was hosted by the Grand Avenue Merchants’ Association.

After-Hours Party at OP-Tic 
There was dancing until dawn at the OP-tic Building this past Saturday night as after-hours guru Quincy Ross put on an impromptu party at the downtown Phoenix art space starring DJ Pablo Gomez on the wheels of steel. Despite the fact he’d only decided to stage the event mere hours earlier, Ross’ last-second shindig was well-attended by the usual variety of downtown scenesters, artists, and merry-makers.
