While there ain’t no cure for the summertime blues, you can certainly dilute the effects by turning those blahs into booze and dancing the night away at French Kiss. Since March, the banging club event has made quite a name for itself (its opening night earned a spread in Spin), boasting fire dancers outside, go-go dancers inside, and a steady flow of celebrity guest DJs. On August 3, resident bad-boy hosts William Reed and Kevin the Makeout Bandit bring in members of indie-fave group Enon for a night of ass-shakin’, chastity-breakin’ dance-floor debauchery. It’s a good bet that hipsters from all over Valley will drunkenly misplace their inhibitions (and maybe even their clothes) to the sexually charged music, which is chock-full of remixes and mash-ups ranging from electro and dance rock to retro and hip-hop.
Fridays, 8 p.m. Starts: March 30. Continues through April 25, 2007
