Sunnyslope Mountain. Phoenix Financial Center. Phoenix Towers. The Bikini Lounge. If it’s in Phoenix and it’s a building and it’s even a little bit pretty, artist Jason Hill has captured it in brightly inked three-color screen prints. And, amazingly, he makes it look spectacular. Don’t believe us? Head straight for Lux Coffeebar, 4404 North Central Avenue, Number 1, on Sunday, August 1 (and on any other day in August afterward), to ogle Hill’s newest show, “This City is Cool.” There, you’ll see what we – and the extraordinarily talented Mr. Hill – are talking about.

We can’t wait to see what Hill’s been up to lately. We only know two things: First, for this show he’s used the “Hipstamatic” iPhone application to create the images and second, whatever he has in store for us will be, as the title of the show says, cool.
