We love to ride bikes. But Susan B. Anthony totally has us beat. Just check out this famous quote by the dollar-coin suffragist: “I think [bicycling] has done more to emancipate women than anything else in the world. It gives women a feeling of freedom and self-reliance.”

The Coalition of Arizona Bicyclists also recognizes the importance of the velo and spread the love with their 12th Annual Coalition of Arizona Bicyclists Swap Meet where cyclists can sell, trade, or shop for bike parts. It’s just one of the events these bike lovers sponsor throughout the year. The coalition also offers classes about how to legally ride on the roads and advocates for fair laws and civic planning that includes bicyclists.
