You think you’ve got the mic skills to pay the bills, but do you have the balls to prove it in front of a club full of strangers? If your response is a resounding “Bring it on!” then lace up your shell-toes, round up your crew, and cruise over to Mic Fights, part of the weekly Hip Hop Thursdays showcase. According to an event promoter, “It’s not an MC battle, but more of a freestyle session between artists.” The signup to participate lasts until 10:30 p.m.
