Imagine biking through Tempe: Lights sparkling off the lake, wind rushing through your hair, and coarse, wooly fabric rubbing against your skin. If this sounds desirable to you, then we must tip our bowler hats, raise our pipes, and suggest you participate in the annual Tweed Ride. Tempe Bicycle Action Group is leading possibly their most dapper ride on Saturday, March 28. So, ladies and gents, grab your bow-ties and pleated skirts, and meet your mates at 7 p.m. on the corner of Rio Salado Parkway and Mill Avenue in Tempe Beach Park, 54 West Rio Salado Parkway. Pose for a photo and be ready to ride by 7:30 as the group pops in to some of Tempe’s best pubs. See the Facebook event for more info.
