Reader support matters more than ever

We're in the final stretch of our summer campaign. Our goal is to raise $15,000 by August 9 to support the journalism our community relies on. Reader support is helping shape the future of local news.

$15,000

Most of us live here for the sun, but that doesn’t mean we have to die by it. And for area vamps and other creatures of the night who’d like to get wet without being basted alive, Sunsplash has the perfect recipe for summer fun sans the sun.

The popular Night Splash series, this year expanded to two nights per week, features twilight frolicking in Sunsplash attractions such as the Sidewinder and the Master Blaster during the cool(er) evening hours of 7 to 11. It’s cheaper than the daytime prices, too, at only $15 per.

Fridays, 7-11 p.m.; Saturdays, 7-11 p.m. Starts: May 29. Continues through Aug. 29, 2009
