September is here, and with a variety of local, creative opportunities up for grabs and a school year back in session, it might be time to set up shop or settle into a space and get some work done.
Beatrice Moore, Grand Avenue’s arts maven and big-time property owner announced this morning that she has two upcoming vacancies along Grand Avenue that are available as storefronts, studio spaces, or workshop areas.
In La Melgosa, 1023 Grand Avenue, a 1,000 sq foot studio with an in-space bathroom, swamp cooling, cement floors, skylights and a work sink hook up is available beginning November 1. The space is one of five art studios and small business spots in the building. Rent is $760 per month and all utilities are included. More info here.
1022 Grand Avenue is available for $350 per month, including water and trash. The building is between a theater company and a jewelry-making studio and is just south of the Paisley Violin. The space is 375 sq feet and includes an in-space bathroom and a front and rear entrance. More info here.
Moore says she’s looking for serious artists or serious small business tenants for both spaces and can provide more information to those who call her at (602) 301-4016.
