Undead in the Water

The whole point of tubing on the Salt, as we see it, is to take clothes off, but Salt River Tubing & Recreation encourages its patrons to don beastly duds for Halloween on the Salt River. If the whole deal seems incongruous, not to mention hell on the tan line, it’s also a haunted busload of fun — Betty’s Haunted Bus, that is. The creepy conveyance, inhabited by spooky spirits such as Miss Pumpkin Spice, “Tommy Tuber Litter Bag Man,” and SRTR employees disguised as witches and pirates, deposits tubers at their drop-off points, where they can scare the shit out of the fish or each other while chilling their Freddy Krueger-clad butts in a tire.
