Welcome to the Morning Buzz, a catch-up on interesting happenings around the city and country and a quick guide to what (and who) to keep your eyes on. We’ll be here, first thing every weekday, to get you going. Here’s what’s buzzing this morning:
1. Anti-Art School’s V-Day Sketch If you’re looking for an excuse to get out and get creative (and take advantage of a sure bet place to catch a bunch of local artists in one spot), check out tonight’s Anti-Art School at Lost Leaf. The monthly costumed/themed life-drawing workshop will feature local model Amy Austen from 8 to 11 p.m. Lost Leaf is at 914 N. Fifth Street.
2. The Museum of Broken Relationships Discarded teddy bears, wedding dresses, and smashed household furniture are all part of the permanent collection in Croatia’s Museum of Broken Relationships. Each item comes with an anonymous testimony from the previous owner of beginnings, romance, and ultimate heartbreak. Museum curators say attendance doubles on Valentine’s Day. How romantic.
3. A love Google Doodle
