If you’re looking at this Sunday with some anxiety because you’re without a snuggle bunny, no worries. There’s one place where, whether solo or polyamorous, you’ll be welcomed with open arms: Chopper John’s for the “You’re the Cat’s Meow! Valentine Variety Show.”
There’s gonna be a lot of love shared in the bouillabaisse of stage acts hosted by Alia Souissi. Standup comedy from Sidney Delorean and the fist-pumpingly enthusiastic John Griggs will loosen you up while weirdo rockers JJCnV try to tear the place down. Page the Village Idiot will also contribute his local-life-inspired comedy tunes, while the Shadow Smut Troupe, backed by a creative soundtrack by Treasure Mammal, will bring its twisted hilarity to life. In case that’s not enough, one can also expect a sideshow featuring “puppets that really know how to love,” says Souissi.
