Remember when you could only name, like, two reality TV shows? One was Survivor. And the other was MTV’s The Real World.

Good news: Real World is still on TV (amid about a zillion other reality programs that have followed in its emotional and kinda trashy footsteps) airing on Thursday nights as Real World: Go Big or Go Home.

Better news: Producers of the show are looking for seven new roommates for next season, whose location has yet to be announced. An open casting call will be held on Saturday, April 2, at Hooters Metro, 10223 North Metro Parkway East. Casting happens from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Beer and wings can also happen for those so inclined.

If you’re the Puck or Cohutta of your friend group, then this may be just the gig for you. Bring your photo ID, headshot, and big loud mouth/personality to the call. Applicants must be at least 21 by June 2016, and come off as 20 to 24 years old. So actually, if you identify as a Puck or Cohutta, you are probably too old to participate. Our bad, O.G. Real World fans. Our bad.

Will you step up to support New Times this year?

At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $15,500 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.

$30,000
