Warehouse 201 might be one of the coolest all-ages venues in the Valley you’ve never heard of. Local promoter and musician Brandon Kellum, who runs Motion Management and plays with local metal band The Alchemist Divide, organized a show on Saturday, February 5 to promote awareness for the north Phoenix spot. It had a near-closing scare last month, so he is hoping a jam-packed line-up featuring 10 bands can gain the venue some new fans. While Warehouse 201 is located in a warehousing district and could be easy to miss, it actually holds 600 people and hosts national and local acts nightly. And besides the massive line-up, the show is special because it is the last show for the singer of Out the Captain, who has played the venue more than 15 times. Also, The Alchemist Divide is releasing a new song the day of the show. It’s called “Behold, the Witchhunt!”, and it was inspired by the venue’s near-closure as an anthem to unite the music scene. Check it out, along with The Fair & Debonair, Darkness Before Dawn and more.

Sat., Feb. 5, 5 p.m., 2011
