One new idea for every day in 2011. We’re talking big, small, local, international, in action and on the drawing board. Here’s today’s — what’s yours?

Caroline Larsen has a thing for texture.

The artist has lived in Canada, America, Japan, and New Zealand, and is currently working in her studio in Toronto, where she creates patterns, details, and large-scale, woven images with paint, a stainless steel tip, and a piping bag.

See more of Larsen’s work on her website or at the Angell and Cambridge Galleries in Ontario.
