Every so often the stars and planets align to bring us free events — case and point, the ASU Astronomy Open House, where you’ll get a close up look at the moon, Jupiter, and probably a few other celestial celebrities.

This stargazing event hosted by the faculty member, Paul Schmidtke of New College of the Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences will happening on Thursday, April 18, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at ASU West Campus, east of the FABNX building (map provided here).

Telescopes will be provided by the college and the Phoenix Astronomical Society, with faculty members on site to lend an expert hand. For more information, visit ASU News Online.
