There’s more than a week left on the countdown clock to the release of Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom, out May 25, which means it’s about time he releases a few behind-the-scenes spoofs.
The four clips are DVD-extra-esques, as narrator Bob Balaban exposes on-scene footage of New Penzance (an island where 80 percent of residence have Lymes Disease), and welcome “guest” characters, Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, and Anderson himself.
Check out the clips (and resume the countdown) after the jump …
Will you step up to support New Times this year?
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $17,250 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
