This Independence Day, families, veterans, and all forms of red-blooded Americans are heading west to Firework Fest — Glendale’s biggest display of fireworks, food, and family festivities.

Westgate’s Independence Day party will offer something for everyone, including water works and face painting for kids, live classic rock and historic military vehicles on display for adults, restaurant grab-and-go deals for picnicking outside, an all-American pub crawl for the late-night drinking crowd, and of course a 25-minute firework spectacular — for everyone, really – because, come on, who doesn’t love fireworks?

The Firework Festival happens from 5 to 9:30 p.m., with the firework show starting at 9, at the Westgate Entertainment District, 6770 North Sunset Boulevard in Glendale. Admission is free, prices vary per activity, and military discounts apply. Visit www.westgatecitycenter.com.
