If you were one of the jilted music fans who got burned when Bob Dylan wimped out of his scheduled outdoor performance back in August, the folk rock legend has a way to make it up to you: He’s putting on a free show…sorta.
Dylan is set to perform at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum during the second night of this year’s Arizona State Fair on Saturday, October 17. Much like any other oncert at the annual cavalcade of corn dogs and cotton candy, you can get into show for free with paid fair admission (which usually runs around $10). Reserved seats are also available for $20.
It understandably won’t be the same as watching Dylan share the stage with Willie Nelson, but the coliseum’s ginormous air conditioning system should keep things at a crisp 70 degrees, so there’s no excuse for him to cancel this particular gig.
