Considering the insanity that has been NCAA football 2007, we’ve been feeling an itch to hit the gridiron for some football of the non-contact variety. (Definitely not tackle, because we’re not that tough. We’re freaking writers.) And if Appalachian State can knock off Michigan, then why can’t we be recruited to a major-college football program? (We do have four years of eligibility.) Oh, yeah, because we’re on injured reserve with that remote-control elbow. Rub some dirt on those couch-potato injuries and head for the Turkey Bowl. The men’s four-on-four flag-football tournament is open to players 18 years and older.
