Woody and Buzzed

Our job here at Night & Day is simple: We try to steer you to cool shit, first and foremost. The secondary aim, only slightly less important, is to keep you buzzed on the cheap. When we can achieve both simultaneously, we sleep like a baby who’s accidentally sucked down some hooch. It’s lovely, really.

You may sleep the sleep of a sodden toddler, too, after the 20 for $20 Trade Tasting at Scottsdale’s Uncorked — The Unpretentious Wine Bar. Nice joint – cozy, woody, squeaky-clean in that north Scottsdale way. And the price is way right on Saturday, August 1, when Uncorked hosts Kevin Karwowski of Young’s Market, who, for the title pittance, will introduce all comers to 20 of the store’s top sellers, ranging from Mossback to Ponzi to Girard to Schramsberg.
