Reader support matters more than ever
We're in the final stretch of our summer campaign. Our goal is to raise $15,000 by August 9 to support the journalism our community relies on. Reader support is helping shape the future of local news.
It’s a good sign that the third annual Arab American Festival has moved from Glendale’s modest Murphy Park to the fancier and spacious Steele Indian School Park. Not only does it show progress, but now that the shindig will take place at the centrally located digs, maybe we can finally start squashing the silly stereotypes about a rad culture that loads of peeps just don’t understand quite yet.
The two-day fest includes live music, dance, and tasty grub.
