Spring cleaning means falls spending, which is why antique-enthusiasts and salvage shoppers are taking their treasure hunt this autumn to Cave Creek for The Big Heap Vintage and Handmade Festival.
This weekend event will offer a warehouse wonderland of reclaimed gems, rare vintage finds, and custom made creations. Best of all, this temporary shop features a collaboration of only jury-selected vendors — that means no wasted time sorting through needless knickknacks and handcrafted crap. The Big Heap Vintage and Handmade Festival returns Friday, November 15, through Sunday, November 17, in Cave Creek, 38410 North School House Road. Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $5. For more information and a preview of the vendors, visit www.thebigheap.com or call 480-329-6118.
Fri., Nov. 15, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Sat., Nov. 16, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Sun., Nov. 17, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., 2013
Will you step up to support New Times this year?
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $15,500 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
