Believe it or not, summer is officially winding down, even if the Valley heat won’t be easing up anytime soon. (Triple-digit temperatures are practically guaranteed until at least early November.)

That being said, Labor Day weekend in metro Phoenix is less about the weather and more about the vibes. It’s essentially a three-day pass to party, with everything from splashy poolside ragers to late-night DJ sets and a mix of other festivities happening from Friday, Aug. 29 to Monday, Sept. 1.

Don’t take our word for it, though. Check out the following rundown of LDW parties and events around the Valley this weekend.

The Hot Chick

4363 N. 75th St., Scottsdale
The Hot Chick in Scottsdale will become “THC University” for a three-day theme party over LDW. There will be games, pong tournaments, DJ sessions, “back-to-school vibes” and even drinks served in red Solo cups, according to a spokesperson. Specials will include $12 jungle juice infused with Grey Goose, $5 Bacardí Mango Chile Jello shots and $10 Patrón Reposado shots. Admission is free. Hours are 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Skysill Rooftop Lounge

11 E. Seventh St., Tempe
Enjoy some LDW festivities atop The Westin Tempe hotel from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday. Skysill’s DJ will spin throwback jams and classics and festive drink specials will be available all evening. Admission is free and you can RSVP online.

The Womack

5749 N. Seventh St.
Bust out your best all-white fits for Groove Candy’s Labor Day weekend edition on Saturday evening. The dress code isn’t mandatory, but it's definitely the vibe when the party kicks off at 8 p.m. DJs M2 and Sir-Plus will set the mood with with hip-hop, neo-soul, dancehall classics all night. Ladies can get in for $5 before 10 p.m. with an RSVP (online or by texting 480-467-7187). General admission tickets are $12.74 per person.

Cobra Arcade Bar

801 N. Second St., #100
The popular downtown Phoenix arcade bar is cranking it “all the way up” on Sunday for its Labor Day weekend party from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. Score half-priced drinks until 6 p.m., catch DJs like Mane One, M. Way and Oh Jezus spinning all day, and fuel up at the food trucks between rounds of joystick classics. Admission is free.

The Montauk

4360 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale
Befitting its name, The Montauk in Scottsdale will bid farewell to the summertime season with a Hamptons-style White Party on Sunday, channeling all the chic vibes you’d expect from an upscale Long Island affair. As such, the dress code calls for all-white attire of the stylish variety. Local DJs will serve up beats throughout the day and night and drink specials like $7 Hampton Water Rosé and $7 Strawberry Frosé will be offered. Hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Reservations are requested.

The Pemberton

1121 N. Second St.
Sugar and Spice from “RuPaul's Drag Race” will be the special guests of The Pemberton’s Labor Day weekend pool party on Sunday. DJ Jay Alexander will be in the mix with go-go dancing by The Stallions Entertainment and various libations being served. The 21-and-over party is from 5 to 10 p.m. General admission tickets are $32.64 in advance and $43.14 at the door. A meet-and-greet with Sugar and Spice is also available for an additional $16.88 per person.

Monarch Theatre

122 E. Washington St.
Go all in on a marathon dance session during the FUSE: Labor Day Weekend party on Sunday. The 12-hour rager runs from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. with nonstop beats and bass blasting over Monarch’s Funktion-One sound system. The event is stacked with back-to-back sets from local heavy-hitters like Hiroko Yamamura and Michelle Sparks, Jocy and Karyme and Solstice Saturdays co-founder Senbad and Mr V. There will also be back-to-back-to-back sessions from such trios as Harvard Bass, Shaded and DJ Tranzit. Tickets are $45.70 per person.

Maya

7333 E. Indian Plaza, Scottsdale
This recently renovated Scottsdale hotspot will host afternoon pool parties and nightlife events throughout Labor Day weekend. British-born house music DJ/producer Chris Lorenzo will headline the daytime festivities on Sunday, which kick off at noon. Tickets are $53.96. That evening, Australian electro-house artist Will Sparks will take over the sound system with support from Breauxx, J. Lupe and Franny J. Doors open at 9 p.m. and admission is $38.41 per person. Sosa and Goosey will wrap things up during Maya’s Labor Day pool party on Monday from noon to 7 p.m. Tickets are $33.18.
