Local artist Carrie Marill is featured on the home page of www.20×200.com today, a website dedicated to selling fine art prints.
This, however, isn’t a generic site like www.allposters.com where you can get a millionth reprint of Van Gogh’s Starry Night for your kid’s dorm room. And it doesn’t let just anyone sell their art (etsy.com, I love you, but some of your sellers are a little…well, you know…yikes).
Nope, the folks behind 20×200 have a discerning eye while catering to art collectors at affordable prices.
The website’s founder, Jen Bekman, owns an art gallery in New York. She shows emerging artists and provides a place for new collectors to find art. Three years ago, she wanted to take her mission a step further and branched out on the internet.
Today, the website boasts over 150 artists from across the nation. It offers limited edition fine art prints in various sizes with costs ranging from $20 to $5,000. Every print includes a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
Check out Carrie Marill’s page…at last, even I can afford her stuff.
