We like many things about Memphis. We like the blues. We like the ribs. We like that the joint was named after the ancient capital of Egypt. We like that it’s not Nashville.

We loathe the Memphis Grizzlies. We’d rather see the Spurs win the friggin’ title – again – than see the Griz break .500. We hate ’em ’cause they gifted the Lakers (the only team we loathe more than the Grizzlies) the keys to the West for years to come when they in essence traded All-Star Pau Gasol to L.A. in exchange for Gasol’s hairball brother, Marc.
